IT was sad to hear of the death of the astronomer Patrick Moore (Echo, Dec 10). He was a man that gave inspiration to many. He was always full of enthusiasm.
He was also self-taught. He proved that if you want to do something, you can if you try hard enough.
He is a sad loss: one more bright star in the sky.
