DARA O’BRIAIN returns with a second series of the mathematically- challenging strand School Of Hard Sums. Once more the Mock the Week veteran attempts to solve some of the world’s biggest conundrums by using maths, physics, chemistry and logic against mathematically challenged comedians.
Previously there was a comedy guest of the week, and a couple of students to help out. This new run features a few additions to the format with two comedians and a whole bank of students rather than just two.
“We know that there’s an everyman at the helm of it, so it’s not going to end up being ‘scientist to scientist’ technical,”
O’Briain explains. “But it doesn’t mean we’re scared or seeking to shy away from it getting technical and getting into topics which people will be a little bit over their heads on.”
