TEENAGERS from County Durham will take part in a Hollywood training camp after being scouted at a national show.

Adara Nattrass, 16, Georgia Thelwell, 15, and Lisa Robinson, 17, were picked from a crowd as they performed at Move It, at London’s Excel Centre.

The youngsters, of Newton Aycliffe, were at the event with the Stepping Out with Clare Walton dance troupe when they were spotted by organisers of The Hollywood Summer Tour.

The trio were offered two-week scholarships giving them the chance to work with A-list choreographers and take part in music video shoots.

Ms Walton, dance company principal, said: “I’m very proud of the dancers. We attended with two other students two years ago and it was a fabulous opportunity. These students work extremely hard and deserve every success.”

Adara and her family now aim to raise £3,500 by June 1 to go.

Her mother Karen Jones said: “It’s a massive opportunity. We’re determined to make it happen.

”Adara is such a down to earth and humble girl. She really deserves it and works so hard.”
