YOUNG football stars are celebrating after winning a league title.
The talented students at Hummersknott Academy, in Darlington, were victorious in the town's under 15 boys football league.
The team played against a number of the town’s secondary schools and won their final match against Carmel College 3 – 0.
PE teacher Alasdair Tatham said: “I am pleased how well the boys have played all season and to come first in such a competitive league is their reward for all the morning training sessions they have put in."
A school spokeswoman added: “The boys were especially delighted to win the league and improve on their achievement as joint winners last year.”
