A BLACK tie charity event is being hosted by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council’s Rising Stars team to raise money for the Prince’s Trust as part of the Million Makers Corporate Challenge.

This event is taking place at 7.30pm on Friday, October 18, at Gisborough Hall and features entertainment hosted by the celebrity comedian Brendan Healy.

A three-course dinner will be accompanied by live entertainment from the band, Mel and the Micro Pigs and later in the event there will be the chance to bid for prizes.

The council is competing against other organisations across the country to raise as much cash as possible.

There are a few remaining tables available with tickets, priced £50 each or £500 for a table of ten. CRIME ADVICE: Cleveland Police are advising residents on crime prevention in Guisborough following a series of garage and shed burglaries in the area. Over the last four to six weeks there has been a spate of break-ins where high value pedal cycles have been stolen.
