A MOTORIST has won £5,000-worth of fuel.
Craig Mackerness and 13 others bagged the prize in a national competition to mark petrol station chain Jet’s 60th anniversary.
Dr Mackerness said: “Although I live with my family here in Durham, my work is based in London.
“Every Sunday I drive to London and return home on a Thursday, which is about a 560-mile round trip.
“With this high mileage, I was absolutely delighted when I found out I had won £5,000 of fuel.”
