THE most expensive insurance claim received by Saga last year involved a cat. The feline fell asleep inside the bonnet of a car. When the driver started the vehicle up, he heard a strange noise, saw the cat dart off - and discovered that it had somehow done £4,000 worth of damage.
Saga, the over 50s insurance firm, received more than 500 claims involving animals last year.
