POLICE in Los Angeles were surprised when a mother doing the school run flagged them down because she didn't known how to do up her son's tie.
She told the officers that even watching tie-tying videos on YouTube had not taught her how to tie, so the two officers helped the 14-year-old – who was on his way to his first day at a new high school – get his uniform right.
Officer Jonathan Maldonado said: "I thank God I had the opportunity to help someone and make an impact in their lives."
