KEEN photographers across the region are being invited to enter a competition.
The three North-East Wildlife Trusts - Northumberland, Durham and Tees Valley - together with other partners have launched the 2017 North-East Wildlife Photography Competition for the fifth year running.
Nestlé Fawdon is again the main sponsor, and, as with previous years an array of prizes are on offer including a £250 voucher from London Camera Exchange, binoculars, photography workshops, wildlife watching trips and more.
As well as a chance to win a prize the entries also help to showcase the wonderful wildlife that can be found in the North-East.
There are six competition categories to enter, entry is free and is open to everyone, but photographs must have been taken in the North-East.
- To enter, and for more information, visit www.northeastwildlifephoto.co.uk.
The competition closing date is midnight Monday, May 15, with the winners being announced at an awards ceremony on July 6 at Great North Museum: Hancock. Winning photos will be exhibited in the museum.
