AN annual golf tournament supporting a charity which helps families affected by autism is taking place on Thursday.
The Daisy Chain Golf Day is taking place at Rockliffe Hall, near Darlington, with tee times brought forward to allow competitors to complete their rounds in time for the England versus Wales game at Euro 2016.
The Daisy Chain Project, which was established in 2003, provides a range of services, including support and activity groups for the whole family, from a 5.5 acre farm at Norton, Stockton-on-Tees.
Pat Chambers, representing the charity at the golf day, said today: "We are so grateful to those local companies which have supported us - and to Rockliffe for being so flexible in accommodating us around the big football match in France."
