A CHILDREN’S theatre production has begun a region-wide tour.
Man on the Moon is visiting 41 venues across the north, having started at Waterhouses Community Centre, County Durham at the weekend.
Venues will include libraries, schools and community centres.
Producer Anna Disley said: “Many of our young audiences won’t have visited the theatre before so this will be an exciting new experience for them.
“If your children enjoy singing, dancing and laughing at silly jokes, then they’re sure to enjoy themselves.”
The tour is linked to Durham Book Festival, produced by New Writing North in association with Sage Gateshead and has received funding from the Arts Council.
The show was adapted from the picture book of the same title by Simon Bartram.
The tour runs until Sunday, November 1. For more details, visit manonthemoontour.com
