Fogged off: A weather warning has been issued for the region for tomorrow
THE Met Office has issued a weather warning for foggy conditions throughout much of Tuesday.
A spokesperson said: "Fog is expected to become fairly widespread across much of North-East England and parts of the North-East Midlands again overnight and into Tuesday morning, with the visibility falling below 100 metres in places and leading to difficult driving conditions.
"The fog will thin and lift slowly later in the morning."
