Double show success for Peter
BRIGHT September sunshine attracted a large crowd to Hurworth Country Fair near Darlington this afternoon.
And Peter Akers was celebrating for the second year running after retaining the Hurworth Healthcare Bucket for the best vegetables in show.
The champion produce was auctioned for charity, with the proceeds split between St Teresa's Hospice and Hurworth Community Association.
