Despite announcing in 2022 that he was retiring from boxing, Tyson Fury will be returning to the ring once again on Saturday (May 18) in a fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury returned to the limelight last year following the release of the Netflix documentary 'At Home with the Furys'.
The documentary starred the heavyweight champion along with his wife Paris, their children and Tyson's brother Tommy Fury with his partner Molly-Mae Hague and gave viewers an inside look into their everyday lives.
Is Tyson Fury still retired from boxing?
Fury claimed he had retired from boxing back in 2022 following a win over Dillian Whyte, according to CBS Sports.
Despite being retired (at the time of filming), the Netflix show documented Fury's trip to Iceland in search of a fight with the former World's Strongest Man Hafthor 'Thor' Bjornsson.

He then went on to fight Dereck Chisora in December 2022 and UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in Riyadh in October last year.
This was not the first time Fury had retired, the heavyweight champion first announced he would be stepping away from boxing as far back as November 2013, according to The Mirror.
But like all the times he has claimed he is retiring before, Fury just can't fully step away from boxing.
In the Netflix documentary, he says: "Boxing is really the only thing that gives me purpose."
When is Tyson Fury's next fight?
Tyson Fury is set to fight Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday (May 18) at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury currently holds the title of WBC heavyweight champion of the world.
While Usyk is the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight world champion.
This weekend's Fury v Usyk fight will see all those titles put on the line with the winner to be crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.
To add even more excitement to the fight, both boxers are currently undefeated. Meaning unless there is a draw, either Fury or Usyk's unbeaten record will come to an end.
When was Tyson Fury's last fight?
Tyson Fury's last fight was against Francis Ngannou.
The fight took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, October 28.
The 'Gypsy King' was knocked down by Ngannou in the third round but managed to survive and won the fight by a split decision.
Is Tyson Fury still undefeated?
Tyson Fury still remains undefeated.
His record to date from 35 fights is 34 wins, 1 draw and 0 losses, with 24 knockouts (KOs).
The draw was against Deontay Wilder back in January 2018.
Will there be a fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua?
A Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua - battle of the Brits fight, has been something that boxing fans in the UK have been waiting years for.
Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn said after his victory over Robert Helenius last year that a fight against Fury could be on the cards in 2024.
Hearn said: “It is the fight we want (against American Deontay Wilder). We have a three-fight plan.
“It was Helenius, first Dillian Whyte and then Helenius, and now Wilder and then Tyson Fury. That is the ambition.”
Fury and Usyk have signed terms to clash for a second time whatever the outcome on Saturday.
But after that rematch, a Fury v Joshua fight could be on the cards for early 2025, according to Queensberry Promotions boss Frank Warren.

Warren, speaking to PA news agency, said: "People will want to see Fury against Joshua, but first there would be the rematch against Usyk because there’s a rematch clause.
“There’s a lot of money involved and I can’t see whoever loses the fight on Saturday will walk away from the second one.
“It would take a lot of money to make Usyk step aside to make the Joshua fight happen – a lot of money because it’s a huge purse. If it doesn’t happen then the winner will fight Joshua in February next year.”
