Virgin Trains leads the way in the latest National Rail Passenger Survey (NRPS), scoring 92 per cent customer satisfaction on its East Coast Mainline franchise.
David Horne, Virgin Trains managing director on the east coast said: “These figures are a testament to our continued investment in services on the east coast and demonstrate that we are continuing to deliver for passengers.”
Virgin Trains East Coast, a partnership between Stagecoach and Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin, is the subject of a controversial “bailout”, with the Government deciding to cut short its contract.
