DETECTIVES are needed to investigate crimes at a popular nature reserve.
Visitors to RSPB Saltholme, near Stockton, are invited to become sleuths for the day and solve clues left at a series of mini crime scenes.
Parts of the reserve have been transformed as the nature reserve hosts a whodunit for families to enjoy.
Youngsters can join Bertie, the Great Mouse Detective, to explore the reserve and solve its mysteries until Friday, August 18.
In addition to the crime trails around Saltholme, visitors can create their own detective journals at the on-site classroom.
David Braithwaite, Site Manager at RSPB Saltholme, said: “It has been great fun turning part of the reserve into crime scenes for this weeks’ fantastic theme.
“We’re confident that families, with children of all ages, will have a brilliant time exploring our reserve, looking for clues and solving the crimes while enjoying our wonderful natural landscape.”
Entry to Saltholme is free for RSPB members and £5 per car for non-members.
