NORTH-EAST audiences will get the chance to enjoy live performances from the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and the National Theatre (NT) thanks to a school initiative.
Yarm School will offer audiences a unique opportunity to see the highly-praised RSC production of The Tempest beamed live from Stratford-upon-Avon in its 140 seat lecture theatre on January 11 at 7pm.
In addition, Broadway and West End hit show No Man’s Land, starring Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, will be screened at Yarm School on January 26 at 7pm.
The broadcast will be followed by an exclusive Q&A with the cast and director Sean Mathias.
