HUNDREDS of children took part in a day of swimming fun yesterday (Sunday, August 30) to raise money for local charities.
Borocuda Swim School held the event at Our Lady and St Bede's School, in Stockton, which included a fun session and sponsored swim, with one child swimming 100 lengths. About 250 children took part.
Organisers say they believe they have raised over £1,000 for charities including Remembering Rebecca, Daisy Chain and the Gateway Resident's Fund.
