A WOMAN was left with broken fingers in a street attack in Saltburn.

The 28-year-old was assaulted along with a 53-year-old man on Milton Street at 8.50pm on Saturday.

She was taken to James Cook University Hospital where she was treated for broken fingers, while the male victim suffered minor injuries.

Three juveniles were arrested on suspicion of assault and have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Officers would like to thank residents of Saltburn for their assistance and continued support.

Neighbourhood officers will be conducting high visibility foot and mobile patrols in the Saltburn area during the coming days and nights and residents are invited to approach them to talk about crime concerns.
