A CAR ploughed into a home in Guisborough last night.
A silver Skoda Octavia went straight through a garden wall, before hitting a bungalow on the end of Rectory Lane and Hutton Lane in Guisborough, east Cleveland at around 11pm last night.
Witnesses said the driver of vehicle was seen "on his feet" after the incident and appeared "okay".
The bungalow is understood to belong to an elderly couple, who were not at home at the time of the incident.
Speaking to The Northern Echo, a neighbour to the damaged property said: "It happened just after 11pm because it was me who phoned the emergency services.
"The front garden of the property looks damaged, but I can't see the front of the property from where I am to see how much damage that has sustained.
"The street was surprisingly deserted for that time of night."
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "We had a report of this at 11.10pm last night.
"A silver Skoda Octavia hit the front of a garden wall.
"There was slight damage to the front of the house.
"No one was at home at the time and there are no further details at the moment."
