A FARMERS’ market returns to the seaside starting a brand-new season this weekend.

The popular event, which only sets up stall nine months of the year, is coming back from its summer break.

With their return the market team has organised more than 40 stalls bring locally produced food, drink, and artwork to the heart of Saltburn on Saturday.

On the market menu, there will be a wide range of locally produced meat and game, fresh fruit and vegetables, wild and garden herbs, artisan bread, handmade cheese, English wines, micro-brewery beers, chocolate, cakes & biscuits, gingerbread, gourmet scotch eggs, a gluten free stall, chilli plants & chilli sauces, hog roast and vegetarian specials.

Not only will the market offer spoil for choice with food and drink but it will also be bringing local arts and crafts that the whole family can enjoy.

By bringing the farmers market to Saltburn it gives visitors the chance to indulge in the seaside towns abundance of independent shops and cafes as well as the locally famous beach, the pier and the Valley Gardens.
