MUSIC lovers will be able to enjoy an afternoon of free entertainment when the some of the best local folk singers take to the stage.
The annual folk concert at the Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum, Skinningrove, east Cleveland, offers an afternoon of music and merriment with the Saltburn Folk Club.
The free concert, in association with the Saltburn Folk Club, takes place on Sunday (August 21) from 1pm-5pm. There will be many local artists taking part including Doc Noir, Ian Swinburne, Ironwood, Tony Warren and Stormcrow.
“This annual folk concert with the Saltburn Folk Club has always proven a great success” said Jean Banwell, education and development officer at the museum.
“This year should be even better with a great line up and wonderful songs.”
There will be tea and cakes to purchase and a raffle, the money from which will go towards the building of a new extension to the museum.
In addition to the music there will be a craft activities to keep the children amused throughout the day.
