A PENSIONER who was involved in a collision on Brotton Road, Carlin How, has died in hospital.
Brian Metherell, from Carlin How, east Cleveland, was a pedestrian involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Zafira on Friday, February 13 at 7.25pm.
The 78-year-old was taken to James Cook University Hospital died seven days later on the evening of Friday, February 20.
An investigation is continuing into the collision and officers would again appeal for any witnesses to come forward and speak to them.
Any witnesses are asked to contact PC Martin Tranmer from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 24961.
