A PIGLET stolen from a barn is in need of urgent medical attention after undergoing an operation in the last 24 hours.
The ten-week-old female piglet – approximately the size of a small dog – has been taken overnight between Sunday and Monday from Stewart Park, in Middlesbrough.
The black Iron Age-type piglet had an operation on Sunday, March 4, and requires antibiotics within 24 hours to support her recovery.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “Officers would appeal for anyone with information or anyone who knows the whereabouts of the piglet to get in touch as a matter of urgency by calling Cleveland Police on 101.”
