A DRIVER gave police a date of birth which knocked 21-years off his age, and was promptly told he will be prosecuted for his actions.
Cleveland and Durham Roads Policing Unit stopped his van in the Park End area of Middlesbrough after being tipped off it was being driven without the correct documents.
A statement on the RPU Facebook page said: “It was all going well for the driver, until he provided a date of birth that knocked a cool 21 years off his age.
“He either had the hardest paper-round in Teesside, or he was telling porkies.
“The vehicle is now on its way to the recovery agent's storage yard and the driver has been reported for summons for driving otherwise than in accordance with his driver’s licence.”
