A CHILD was injured in a collision with a car.
The incident happened in Dormanstown, Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon.
The Great North Air Ambulance was called to the scene shortly before 2.30pm.
"GNAAS was called to assist NEAS with a child who had been injured in an incident with a car," said a spokesman.
"The patient was assessed and treated on scene by the paramedic and doctor team before being taken to James Cook by road."
The child was said to be "comfortable" on arrival.
