AN accident on the A19 southbound carriageway caused delays for motorists on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at the A689 and congestion was reported to the A181 / B1281 and on the A689 Stockton Road to Dalton Back Lane.
The accident has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
