A MIDDLESBROUGH domestic abuse charity is holding a Hollywood-themed fundraising event.
My Sister's Place, which supports women and children affected by abuse, will hold the Golden Age of Hollywood charity ball at Gisborough Hall on Friday, November 4, and will feature live music from the Paul Skerritt Band.
There will also be fundraising games and a grand auction, and local photographer Lucinda Grange has donated one of her self-portraits for the sale.
Michelle O’Rourke, Service Development Manager at My Sisters Place, said: “Previous years have seen Magicians, 20s dance troupes and the best live bands from the area.
“This year will be no different with a fab Hollywood theme and plenty of glitz along the way, we want our guests to have a great time in helping a small charity to make a big difference.”
The charity is approaching its 15th year of delivering services in Teesside, and it has supported over 7,000 women to live safe and free from abuse.
Tickets are now on sale for £65 each, or £620 for a table of 10. Contact hello@mysistersplace.co.uk or call 01642-241864 for more details.
