IMAGES have been released as police attempt to trace a wartime identity bracelet, which is of highly sentimental value, following a burglary in Middlesbrough.
Jewellery including bracelets, brooches, watches, gold rings, earrings and pendants are among items stolen in a burglary at The Grove, Marton, at around 8am on Monday, April 18.
Following the burglary, police traced a number of alleged stolen items and two vehicles allegedly stolen from the address but they are still trying to trace an identity bracelet issued during the Second World War.
Two men aged 27 and 42 were charged with burglary and were due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court.
Anyone who may have located jewellery or other items in the area is asked to contact Detective Constable Keith Longstaff from Middlesbrough Volume Crime Team on the non-emergency number 101, Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org
