TWO cars were in collision in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened on Stainton Way, at its junction with Mallowdale around 8am.
It occurred as parents were taking their children to several schools in the area, when the road is busy in all directions.
The vehicles involved - a Renault Scenic and a Nissan Juke - were extensively damaged.
Ambulance and fire crews joined police at the scene. At 9am police were still in attendance, directing traffic around the accident site.
