ORGANISERS of an annual fun day are planning to use all the money they raise to take more than 100 people enjoy a day at Flamingo Land.
The Easterside Partnership put on a wide range of events from face painting to raffles and go karts to super heroes, to secure the money to pay for locals to enjoy a day at the visitor attraction.
Sam Scott, community officer, said: "This day is about everybody in Easterside, so we try to involve as many people as possible to raise the funds to pay for the trip.
"It is a great day and it is for a great cause - giving people a great day away in the summer holidays.
"Last year we managed to fill two buses and take almost 100 people away for the day - which is amazing. All the shops in the precinct have helped with the fun day and a lot of the prizes for the raffle have been kindly donated by residents living on the estate."
