POLICE are hunting two men after a show worker was threatened with a screwdriver during an attempted robbery.

The incident happened at about 9.50pm on Sunday, June 21 at the Premier Store at Hollywalk Avenue in Normanby, Middlesbrough.

The two males entered the shop and demanded cash but they escaped empty handed after they were challenged by staff.

A female worker sustained a minor hand injury during this incident, but did not require hospital treatment.

The suspects have been described as white males, possibly in their late teens and both of slim build, wearing dark clothing and motorcycle helmets. They made off from the scene on a red motor scooter.
