TWO men were found with stab injuries when police were called to an incident in Middlesbrough this morning (Friday, March 27).

The 41-year-old was was taken to James Cook University Hospital following the incident at an address on Park Lane at around 7.10am.

A second male was located at an address on Myrtle Street, the 35-year-old man had also suffered stab injuries. He was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment.

The injuries suffered by both men are not believed to be life threatening.

A 46-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and have been taken to custody. Any witnesses or anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
