POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A1085 Trunk Road westbound at Brambles Farm in Middlesbrough.
A Mercedes E270 collided with a traffic island and two lamp posts before turning on its side at about 11.10pm on Saturday, January 24.
A 23-year-old man suffered a head injury and a 22-year-old man suffered a neck injury and a dislocated shoulder. Both attended James Cook University Hospital for treatment, but have since been discharged.
A 34-year-old man and a 22-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and aggravated taking without consent (TWOC). Both have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
