A WOMAN has been robbed after she was pushed to the ground as she walked through woodland on the outskirts of Middlesbrough.

The 50-year-old was attacked at about 8.30pm on Saturday, September 6 near to the Flatts Lane car park in Normanby.

A male dragged her rucksack from her shoulder and ran off along with another male towards the car park. The victim was uninjured during the incident.

The first suspect is described as about 6ft tall and of medium build. Both males were wearing dark coloured hooded tops, dark coloured bottoms and white trainers. The second male is described as two or three inches shorter than the first male.

The rucksack, which is described as light grey with a pocket on both sides, contained a cream coloured throw, £10 in cash and stationery including a sketch pad and pencils.
