TIME is running out for residents to have their say on the future of health and wellbeing services in their town.

People are being urged to complete a short survey, which runs until Sunday July 16, to voice their opinions and help shape Hartlepool Borough Council’s next Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

The strategy – which will run from 2018 to 2025 – will focus on improving health and reducing inequalities across the priority areas of the town.

Residents are also urged to attend consultation workshop events to air their views on issues including local health care services and workplace wellbeing with senior members of the Council’s Public Health department.

Vice chairman of the Health and Wellbeing Board, Dr Nick Timlin, said: “It is vitally important to fill in this health survey and come along to our consultation workshop events to help shape not just the next Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy, but also the future of the NHS.

“Don’t miss this opportunity to have your say, share your ideas and hopes for the future wellbeing of the people of Hartlepool and ensure we get quality care close to home.”

The dates and venues of the consultation workshops are: today 1.30pm - at Owton Manor Community Centre and Friday 14 from 10am at West View Advice & Resource Centre. To book call 01429-523647.
