THE Mayor Hartlepool is appealing for people to support his Civic Dinner to raise much-needed funds for two worthy causes.

Councillor Rob Cook and the Mayoress of Hartlepool Mrs Brenda Cook will host the event at the town’s Golden Lion, Dunston Road on the evening of Saturday, October 22.

All of the money raised will go to the mayor’s two chosen charities, the Great North Air Ambulance and Bloodwise – a cancer charity.

Entertainment will be provided by the female vocal harmony quartet The JADeS who will sing songs from across the decades.

Hartlepool Mayor, Councillor Rob Cook, said: “I hope people can support my Civic Dinner, which is part of the fundraising during my Mayoral year for two very worthy causes.

“Guests will be seated on tables of eight but smaller groups and individuals will be made very welcome.”
