THE driver of a vehicle which hit a cyclist in Hartlepool before driving off is being hunted by police.
The 28-year-old cyclist was taken to Hartlepool General Hospital with a fractured elbow after the crash on Raby Road, close to the Premier Shop, on Wednesday, January 20 at about 4pm.
Police said the vehicle did not stop at the scene after the collision with the blue and white Giant pedal bike.
Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or the driver or any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact PC Michaela Anderson at Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 013453.
