A MAN is due to appear in court after he was arrested when two kilogrammes of suspected cocaine, worth £200,000, was discovered in his car.
Officers from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit stopped a vehicle on the A19 northbound carriageway at the Crathorne interchange on Tuesday evening.
The suspected cocaine was recovered from the vehicle.
The 27-year-old man, from the Cheshire area, has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A. He will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
