A RELAUNCHED music venue has announced an Easter uprising with a trio of gigs for the holiday weekend.
The Studio in Hartlepool has endured an uncertain few years with various supporters and partners coming and going in an attempt to recapture the glory days.
But its fortunes have hopefully been turned around thanks to a new committee supported by dozens of volunteers, who have put live music and performance as the venue’s focus.
It will host some of the region’s best new bands and performers, as well as some old favourites between Good Friday and Easter Sunday including Hartlepool band Para Alta, tribute actsThe Total Stone Roses and Oaysis and local favourites The White Negroes.
Amanda Gallagher, Chairwoman of The Studio, said: “There has been an incredible amount of work taken place behind the scenes."
