A POST-MORTEM examination carried out following the unexplained death of a 39-year-old man has proved inconclusive.
Police officers were called to an address on Alderson Street in Hartlepool shortly after 1.30pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 16). The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further tests will now be carried out. The man has not been identified.
The property where the man was discovered was taped off as police guarded the door while a forensics team carried out their inquiries on Wednesday and today.
It’s believed the man had lived in the street with a woman for about a year.
