GOODS NEEDED: A new charity “superstore” which is being opened in Stockton to raise funds for Daisy Chain is appealing for items to sell.

The charity, which helps families affected by autism, will turn a former carpet showroom on Portrack Lane, Stockton, into a charity superstore.

It now needs a wide variety of items to sell – from large furniture and dining room sets to smaller items like children’s books, toys, bric-a-brac and clothes. The items must be of good quality and suitable for use by others.

Sofas and armchairs have to have flame-retardant labels. Mattresses on beds must not have any marks on them, and white goods cannot be taken. Daisy Chain is offering a collection service for larger items. For more information call 01642-531248.
