A MINING museum is reopening after structural damage caused by bad weather was repaired.
Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum, in Skinningrove, east Cleveland, will be open from Monday at 11am.
A spokeswoman said: "We will be initially opening limited parts of the museum with a phased opening over the coming months, with a specially adapted tour. Due to this we are reducing the cost of a visit to £2 per adult and £1 per child until further notice. The safety of our visitors is paramount to us and we are working in partnership with HSE, the mines inspector and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council to eventually re-open the whole museum."
For further information contact the museum on 01287-642877 or visit the website www.ironstonemuseum.co.uk or facebook page @cimmuseum
