A CLOTHING bank is set to open its doors at a new venue as it holds its second event.
As well as clothes, the Teesside Socialist Clothing Bank (TSCB) project will also be offering hot food, entertainment while advice and guidance will be available through a team of committed volunteers.
The clothing bank, off Newport Road, in Middlesbrough, will be open tomorrow (Saturday 14) between 11am and 2pm.
One of the project coordinators, Andrew Coleman said: “We continue to be outraged at the extent to which people are struggling, but inspired by the determination of people to help each other. This Valentine's Day we hope to show some love shaped solidarity.”
At present the TSCB opens on the second Saturday of each month and plans a special event in March.
