TWO Vietnamese teenagers who have been missing almost a week have been found safe and well overnight, police said today.
One girl was found at an address in the Thames Valley area and the other was located in Bedfordshire.
The 15-year-old and 14-year-old, originally from Vietnam but living in the York area,
are being returned to the care of local authorities.
A man has been charged with two counts of modern slavery after being arrested in the early hours of Tuesday.
The girls were last seen in a taxi near York Minster at around 12.30pm last Sunday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "Our thanks go to everyone who shared our appeal and members of the public who called in with information."
The investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the case continues.
