ASSAULT: Police at the Watergate Inn in York
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital for treatment after a serious sexual assault in a city centre pub.
Police were called to the Watergate Inn on Walmgate in York at about 3pm on Wednesday.
A woman aged in her 20s was taken to hospital for treatment and a 41-year-old man and a 52-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A police cordon was put in place at the scene as inquries continued to establish the full circumstances.
