A MAN has been arrested following an incident this afternoon in which a man was stabbed in the leg.
Armed police were called to an address in Margaret Street, York, at 2.30pm following reports of a violent disturbance.
A man was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspect, who is aged in his 30s, was arrested at a property on neighbouring Hope Street. he was taken into custody for questioning.
Police enquiries are ongoing at the scene.
