A WOMAN required hospital treatment after a fight broke out in a city street.
A 23-year-old woman from Scarborough has been arrested for affray after the brawl between a group of women in King Street, York, at 12.40am on Monday.
Police said a woman in her 20s was assaulted and dragged to the ground during the fight, leaving her with injuries which needed treatment at York Hospital.
The 23-year-old has been released while investigations continue.
