TOP: York College has been ranked as the county's Number One
YORK College has been ranked as Yorkshire’s top general further education college and rated in the top three colleges in the country for A-levels.
The college’s A-level results have been consistently above the national average for 22 consecutive years. In 2016 students achieved a 99.8 per cent pass rate, with over 55 per cent attaining high grades (A* - B).
The A -level faculty offers almost 40 subjects including all the traditional subjects, three types of English, History and Art subjects, and more unusual ubjects such as geology, film studies and law.
