THREE boys were stopped after allegedly taking a tractor to try to get home from a night out.
Police say the vehicle had been seen leaving Harrogate with no lights on just before 5am today and it was stopped at Ripley.
Insp Chris Gallery said on twitter: "A strange end to a night shift. 15 year old lad driving a tractor as a taxi for his drunk mates."
Police said a 15-year-old was driving and two other youngsters were being carried unsafely. Police said they would be interviewed.
